Delete Your Account

1. Delete from the app

If you can sign in, this is the fastest way:

• Open the Padhai Karlo app and sign in.
• Go to Account (the profile / settings tab).
• Scroll to Delete account, tap it, and confirm.
• Your account is scheduled for deletion with a 30-day grace period. You can cancel any time before then from the same screen — after the grace period the account and its data are permanently removed.

2. Request deletion by email

If you can’t sign in — or prefer email — send a deletion request and we’ll process it for you:

• Email ask@padhaikarlo.com from any address, with the subject “Account Deletion Request”.
• Include the registered mobile number on the account so we can verify ownership.
• We verify the request and delete the account within 7 working days, and confirm by email once done.

3. What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

• Your profile — name, gender, class, and target exam.
• Your phone number and login credentials (PIN).
• Your learning data — test attempts, scores, streaks, readiness, and progress history.
• Your saved bookmarks and practice history.
• Guardian / student pairing links associated with your account.
• Device and notification subscriptions tied to your account.

4. What we retain, and for how long

A limited set of records is retained after deletion only where the law requires it:

• Payment & tax records. Transaction records (order IDs, amounts, GST invoices) are retained for the period required under Indian tax and accounting law (currently up to 8 years). These are kept for compliance only and are not used to identify or contact you.
• Anonymised analytics. Aggregate, de-identified usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you may be retained to understand overall product usage.

All other personal data is removed from our active systems on deletion and purged from backups within 30 days.

5. Before you delete

• Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone — your progress, streaks, and history can’t be recovered.
• Any unused portion of a subscription or trial is forfeited on deletion; see our Refund Policy for details.
• To use Padhai Karlo again later, you’ll need to create a new account from scratch.
